What is large-format printing?

Large-format printing is a form of printing that requires special equipment to accommodate projects that fall outside normal print dimensions (e.g. 8.5” x 11”, 11” x 17”, etc.). Large-format printing is frequently used to create items like in-store displays, event banners, large wall calendars, wall posters, and more.

How does large-format printing work?

Coordinating a successful large-format production run requires a combination of specialized equipment and expertise. No matter the material used (paper, canvas, vinyl, etc.) most large-format print jobs will be printed digitally, and will need some form of finishing (lamination, cutting, mounting, etc.) before they can be considered “complete.”
